Your Park Pass viewing guide

Tuesday, 28 March 2023

What can you see at this year's FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 with a Park Pass? Plenty – so join us for a high-speed tour.

It's a conundrum for any Formula 1® fan – do I sit and soak it all in, or wander and weigh up the best spots to watch the action? At the FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2023, there's no right or wrong answer – because if you have a Park Pass (General Admission), you can do either, or both.

We're biased, of course, but Albert Park really is one of the best places on the entire F1® calendar to see the cars strut their stuff. It's picturesque, accessible, flat and very walkable – and the perfect places to watch from are plentiful.

All of which makes a Park Pass (GA) THE best way to watch. You get different vantage points, amenities are close by, there's a festival-type atmosphere and loads of like-minded fans keen to enjoy their F1® experience. The only question with a Park Pass is, which option do you want to explore first?

Pit Stops

A Park Pass means you can follow the action trackside from five prime locations, or Pit Stops. They're situated in five key places in the park – the inside of Turn 2, the outside of Turn 9, the inside of Turn 12, the outside of Turn 14 and in M Lane, which is on the infield from Turn 1. Grab a deckchair, take cover under some shade or park yourself on the grass to watch the action unfold on the big screens. Food, drinks and other amenities are close by – it's high-octane F1® convenience in a chilled-out setting.

Trackside Viewing

Our favourite part of a Park Pass, because there's nothing like checking out the world's best drivers in their state-of-the-art machinery from different vantage points. There are four can't-miss locations – the inside of Turn 2 (a guaranteed first-lap hotspot for action), the outside of Turn 8, the blindingly-fast curve that follows (complete with a fourth DRS zone this year, an F1® world-first) and the eye-watering rapid Turn 9-10 chicane. Better yet, they're all on large, raised viewing mounds – if there's something happening on track, you're in pole position to see it, hear it, feel it …

Whether you prefer to park yourself in a Pit Stop or get your steps up traversing Albert Park for some Trackside Viewing, there's one thing for certain; having a Park Pass is the golden ticket to the best seats in the house.
