When is the Portuguese Grand Prix?

The third race of the 2021 F1® season takes place on Sunday 2 May at Portimao.

Practice begins on Friday 30 April with FP1 and FP2, followed by FP3 and qualifying on Saturday 1 May.

What time does the Portuguese Grand Prix start?

The 2021 Portuguese GP starts at 3:00pm local time on Sunday 2 May, which is 12:00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 3 May.

The AEST for each session in Portugal is as follows:

  • Practice 1: Friday 8:30pm-9:30pm AEST
  • Practice 2: Saturday 12:00am-1:00am AEST
  • Practice 3: Saturday 9:00pm-10:00pm AEST
  • Qualifying: Sunday 12:00am-1:00am AEST
  • Race: Monday 12:00am AEST

The race takes place at Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, effectively known as Portimao, in Portugual.
