Supporting producers to create and grow sustainable businesses.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) has partnered with Madebox to bring the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022 Victorian precincts to life.

Madebox supports producers to create and grow sustainable businesses by providing new opportunities to sell and tell their stories, whether that be via their Madebox gift boxes, private producer markets, in region experiences or activations at events.

This year, Madebox will bring local producers and makers to the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022, showcasing up to 30 Victorian producers from regions including Phillip Island, Yarra Valley, Great Ocean Road, Grampians and Melbourne.

Located in the Great Ocean Road precinct, Madebox gift boxes will be available for purchase over the four-day event and feature products from regions affected by drought, bush fires and locations where tourism has been impacted by the pandemic, providing small businesses with the opportunity to recover and be rediscovered.

Friday Grandstand tickets for the Formula 1®️ Heineken®️ Australian Grand Prix 2022 are available from $91. Get them before they sell out.

Four themed Madebox gift boxes will be available each day, available in two sizes, priced at $89 and $169.

Thursday kicks off with a cocktail theme, with Henry Sugar Bar creating a custom cocktail showcasing Patient Wolf gin with matching accompaniments, including Melbourne Bushfood’s strawberry gum syrup, mandarin dust from The Curious Cabinet, and The Garlic Company Black Garlic Beer Nuts.

Bringing a wholesome touch to Friday, a garden state theme will delight fans with creations from Cremorne St Bakers, Plant Runner, Cunliffe & Waters from the Yarra Valley and our very own Melbourne City Rooftop Honey.

Relax will be the theme of Saturday, with a limited-edition coffee table cookbook dedicated to farmers and chefs of Phillip Island and the wider Bass Coast, and a choice of hand creams, The Herbalist Bells Beach hand wash, Audley & Hall chocolate truffles and Grampians Goods Co treats.

On Sunday, the Victorian BBQ theme will keep the excitement going post-race, with a stacked line-up from The Truffle House’s Truffle Mustard, Movida Alimentaria Pickled Garlic, Chotto Motto Shichimi, Fancy Hanks sauce, Entrecote steak seasoning and more.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation's General Manager of Marketing and Experience, Arthur Gillion said, "This year, we wanted to shine a light on some of the regions we have missed travelling to over the last two years, the regions that have given us some of our most well-known and loved producers and makers.”

"Our partnership with Madebox will offer fans a true taste of Melbourne and regional Victoria through some of the best produce from our very own backyard.”

Madebox' Founder, Samantha Finnegan is excited to partner with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

“Madebox is delighted to partner with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation to invite a selection of our 300+ producers to celebrate the depth and richness of diversity that small-batch producers bring to our regions. It’s a chance to appreciate what Victoria has to offer, combining the best of the regions with our major events, a fantastic opportunity to showcase what makes our state so unique,” she said.
