Locked in: Smith re-signs with Van Amersfoort Racing

The Melbourne-born driver returns for the FIA Formula 3® grid in 2024.
Tommy Smith has announced he will be returning to the FIA Formula 3® grid in 2024 with the Van Amersfoort Racing team.
The Australian will be looking to build upon his rookie season in the series and has gained confidence from the post-season tests and his performance at the Macau Grand Prix.

"Continuing with Van Amersfoort Racing for another year is an incredible opportunity," said Smith.
"The team and I have had a great partnership so far, and I cannot wait to see what 2024 brings us.”

Van Amersfoort Racing has a nearly 50-year history in the sport, with Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc among its bigger-name graduates.

FIA Formula 3® returns to Albert Park in 2024, with tickets to Friday, where you will see a Practice and Qualifying session for the series – amongst all the other series!
