The four-day motorsport extravaganza is headlined by Formula 1® - the pinnacle of motorsport. Formula 2® and Formula 3® return as support categories.

Formula 1®

Formula 1® is the world’s most prestigious motor racing competition and is the highest international racing class for open-wheel single-seater racing cars.

Ten teams and 20 drivers have wheel-to-wheel battles with the ultimate goal of taking out the FIA Formula One World Championship™ title.

Formula 2®

The FIA Formula 2® Championship is a second-tier single-seater championship, providing the ultimate training ground for those wishing to make the step into F1®.

The series mandates parts of each car to make the championship as much as an even competition as possible. Teams use the same chassis, engine and tyre supplier.

Formula 3®

The FIA Formula 3® Championship is a third-tier single-seater championship that will return to Albert Park.

Won by Australian Oscar Piastri in 2020, the Formula 3® Championship is considered a feeder series for F2® and F1® and a place where the future stars of world motorsport begin their careers.
