Between 1954 and 1959 only 50 original Lister cars were produced and they either won or were placed over 2000 times in track events worldwide.
There were only 22 “Knobbly” Lister Jaguars made, of which 12 had the 3.8 litre Jaguar straight six.
One of the most formidable racing cars of all time the Lister Jaguar made its debut in 1957 with an instant string of victories including the British Empire trophy at Oulton Park and the Sussex Trophy at Goodwood and for five racing seasons this small but astoundingly successful equipe of Jaguars was never out of the headlines.
Then and now in Historic racing, Listers are still the car to have.
This car had its chassis built in England by Mark Lewis Design and Engineering company.
The head was built by Crosthwaite and Gardner of Sussex UK. This recreation Lister is body and remaining parts have been built by Steve Pike of Classic Restorations in Bacchus Marsh Australia using new parts made to original specifications.
