Public Transport is the best way to get to and from the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PUBLIC PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE CIRCUIT.

Tram Services
There will be 4,800 extra tram services to get you to the track with high frequency shuttle services run to the Grand Prix between Flinders Street Station and Albert Park and Southern Cross station and Albert Park. Tram shuttles will run as often as 1 – 2 minutes during peak times and 3 – 10 minutes outside of peak times from 5am to 10pm and are free with your Grand Prix ticket.
Trams from Southern Cross Station will run to Gates 1, 2 and 3, while those from Melbourne Central and Flinders Street stations will run to Gates 5, 8, 9 and 10.
Before going, check for public transport and road network disruptions, and plan at ptv.vic.gov.au/grandprix.

Gates 1, 2 and 3
- Extra trams run express between Southern Cross Station and Gates 1 and 2
- Extra trams run express between Southern Cross Station and Gate 3
- Passengers can also connect with Route 96 replacement buses between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Luna Park via Gate 1, 2 and 3
Thursday, 13 March to Sunday, 16 March
Gate 1, 2 and 3
Grand Prix extra buses run express between a temporary stop in Whiteman Street near Crown Casino:
- Friday, 14 March, from 7.30m to 12pm and 4pm to 8.30pm
- Saturday, 15 March, from 7.30m to 12pm and 4pm to 8.30pm
- Sunday, 16 March, from 7.30m to 12pm and 4pm to 8.3pm
Gates 5, 8, 9 and 10
- Grand Prix extra trams run between Melbourne Central Station via Swanston Street and Flinders Street Station, Federation Square via St Kilda Road, stopping at Gates 5, 8, 9 & 10.

Travellers Aid
Travellers Aid is a friendly and professional service offering support, advice and assistance to the travelling public, including people with special requirements or experiencing travel emergencies.
Travellers Aid will assist passengers with accessible needs at Gate 1 and Gate 10 throughout all four Grand Prix event days.
Gate 1: Wheelchair support between Tram Stop 130 Middle Park and Gate 1 main entrance.
Gate 10:
- Wheelchair support is available at Tram Stop 30 St Kilda Junction and corner of St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street.
- Buggy Transfer Service between corner of St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street to Gate 10.
- Wheelchair support from Gate 10 to What Ability Foundation viewing platform.
Crown Express
The Crown Express shuttles depart from Gate 1 from 5 pm to 9 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Train Services
Those attending the Grand Prix™, who are required to catch a train, are recommended to either get off at Southern Cross Station or Flinders Street Station, which would then connect to a Tram Service.
- Southern Cross Station: 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) from the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit (Recommended for Gates 1, 2, and 3).
- Flinders Street Station: 4.3 kilometres (2.7 miles) from the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit (Recommended for Gate 5, 8, 9, and 10).
Bus
Friday to Sunday, from 4pm there are additional buses available to support trams between Gate 9 and Flinders Street Station. As well as an express bus service from Gate 10 to Caulfield Station.
A free express bus service to Crown is available from gates 1, 2 and 3 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday only).
Bicycle
For the 2025 event, AGPC and Bicycle Network have collaborated to provide valet bicycle parking compounds at Gate 5 and 10, for fans travelling to the circuit. These parking compounds will be supervised from 30 minutes before Gates Open till 30 minutes after Gates Close.
There are additional non-supervised parking locations near Gates 2, 3, and 8.
All bicycle parking is at the owner's risk.
Taxi
Taxi ranks are located at Gates 1 and 2 (on Canterbury Road), Gates 3 and 5 (on Albert Road), Gate 8 (on St Kilda Road) and Gate 10 (on Fitzroy Street).
Ride Sharing
There are designated drop-off and pick-up locations for ride-sharing services at Gates 1, 2, 3, and 10.
Micro-Mobility (E-scooter and E-bike)
There are dedicated drop-off locations near Gates 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10 for fans travelling to the circuit by an electric scooter.
Neuron and Lime have dedicated parking zones, and please note that travel close to the event will be restricted, and fans are asked to store electric scooters in dedicated parking locations.

If you’re not planning to stay for the Crown Lakeside Festival after track action wraps up each day, try skipping the queue and heading back towards the city on foot, with average walk times quicker than you might expect.

Charter Flights
The quickest and easiest way to get to the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 is by helicopter! Leave traffic and public transport behind as you travel in style between the city and the circuit.
PHS offers charter helicopter flights from their base at Moorabbin Airport direct to the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. Prices are listed below:

Helicopter Joy Flights around the Grand Prix
Get a bird's eye view of the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026!
A scenic helicopter flight will take you on two laps of the Circuit (approximately 6 minutes), providing a unique view of the Circuit with stunning photo opportunities of Port Phillip Bay.
- Two laps around the circuit: $90.00 per person on Thursday and $120.00 per person on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- A ticket to the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 event is required to gain access to our Joy Flights located within the grounds.
Scenic helicopter flights can be booked at either the heliport or the ticket sales booth in Legends Lane, near Gate 1 - look for the little blue and yellow helicopter that marks the location.
The helipad is near Gate 10 on the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. You can get to and from the heliport by the corporate shuttle if you have a corporate ticket.
