Australian Defence Force on the ground

The Australian Defence Force will once again provide racegoers with an array of interactive ground displays at the 2014 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. Team Army will bring back their Project Digger and Armygeddon vehicles along with a Navy helicopter, giving patrons an insight into the people and purpose behind our Army and the opportunity to try out some cool equipment.

Visit the Action Zone to meet some of the ADF personnel in the Action Zone and find out more about ADF recruitment. Also don’t forget to check out the Rising Suns Band in the Golf Course Precinct. Open all day Thursday to Sunday.

Australian Defence Force in the air

Always a crowd favourite at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, the Royal Australian Air Force Roulette aerial displays and F/A-18 fly-overs return for the 2014 event. Flying in formation speeds of up to 590km per hour in the skies above the Albert Park circuit, the spectacular precision flying and aerobatics of the RAAF roulettes will be a thrilling display for audiences young and old on all days of the event. Aerial displays will take place twice daily Friday – Sunday.
