Jimmy Barnes set to rock the Grand Prix

A huge line-up of Australian music royalty, headed by the king of Aussie rock and roll Jimmy Barnes, will perform off track at the 2013 Formula 1^® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

Fans needing a break from the adrenaline pumping Formula 1^® action can unwind to the likes of Daryl Braithwaite, James Reyne, Diesel and Johnny Wonderpants across the four days of the event.

To mix up the music offering some of the country’s best new talent, The Potbelleez and Jason Singh & Band, as well as cult favourite Jebediah will take to the “Legends Lane Main Stage.”

Here music lovers can relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere with bean bags, giveaways, and big screens to ensure they don’t miss any of the activity on track.

Jimmy Barnes will rock Formula 1^® fans with a special one hour live show on Saturday 16 March starting at 6.30pm.

Those who can’t make it to the “Legends Lane Main Stage” can settle in at one of the smaller stages located around the Albert Park circuit:

Premium Zone at Turn 5 and 15: daily acoustic and DJ sets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am
Autograph Stage at V8 Village: daily acoustic bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:45am
Australian Defence Force Rising Suns Rock Band at Golf Course Precinct: Everyday from 11am
