The legendary Hoodoo Gurus, by any measure, one of Australia’s greatest; best loved most enduring rock bands of all time.
In 1998, whilst in their peak, the band decided to break up, moving on to perform and record with other people. Not before long, the guys decided to come back together to form a new band, The Persian Rugs. This was short lived, and the band ended the Persian Rugs to reform as the Hoodoo Gurus. Since then, the band has recorded two more critically-acclaimed studio albums to add to their list, bringing their total number of recorded albums to 9. Hoodoo Gurus would have to be one of the most popular and successful musical acts to come out of Australia, with their induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 being testament to this.
You Am I
Fresh from last year’s highly successful 20-date “Hi Fi Daily Double” National tour, You Am I return to the stage to perform at this year’s Australian Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday March 16th.
Two decades on from their first album release, You Am I have not only had one of the longest and most successful recording careers in Australia, but are also without doubt one of our most loved live bands. Aside from their touring exploits the band have had a busy 12 months, with a first-time foray into the beverage world with the production of their own "Brew Am I" beer in conjunction with the Young Henry Brewery, and the simultaneous re-issue of their first three records, "Sound As Ever", "Hi Fi Way" and "Hourly Daily".
Megan Washington is a 2-time ARIA award winner, multi-platinum album seller, an APRA Breakthrough Songwriter, the inaugural Vanda & Young Songwriter of The Year and recipient of numerous other industry accolades for her debut album 'I Believe You Liar'.
Megan headlined the Sydney Festival and sold-out the Sydney Opera House Main Concert Hall with the ACO as her final statement before relocating to London to commence work on her upcoming album with Sam Dixon (Sia, Adele). In the interim Megan Washington served as a mentor to Keith Urban on the inaugural series of The Voice in Australia, and was an ambassador for Vogue Magazine's Fashion Night Out, while her stunning voice has been heard around the world on various television and film productions, from 'Girls' to 'Boardwalk Empire'. As a signal of her intention to never remain static, Megan starred in her first feature film, the cult musical 'Boy Castaways', which launched at the Adelaide and Melbourne Film Festival in late 2013.
Her first single in two years will be out in early 2014, and if the anticipation at her recent run of secret shows is any indication, we can expect another exciting chapter in Ms Washington's already stellar career.
With a stellar career spanning more than 45 years and showing no signs of slowing, Mr Eagle Rock Ross Wilson is one of Australian rock music's most enduring and lauded talents. Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, the band forged an enviable reputation as a blistering live act, which they followed up in the studio with their acclaimed 2007 album, Another Point of View. Lead single Better Days was one of the standout tunes of that summer, receiving airplay on Triple J, Triple R, PBSFM, FBI, 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide and Fox FM. Responding to demand from fans, Zoophyte embarked on a massive national tour, cementing their reputation as a fantastic live band and picking up even more fans – and great reviews – along the way.
After clocking up a few thousand kilometres playing sold-out shows across the country, the guys decided to take a break, do some soul searching and start work on their highly anticipated follow-up.
The revamped line-up of Cam Lee (vocals and guitar), Andrew Gilpin (bass), Rob Muinos (guitar) and Elvis Aljus (drums) spent the best part of the last 18 months in the studio – writing, recording and shaping the inherently melodic rock sound that is Zoophyte of 2012.

“Johnny Wonderpants” the band is an acoustic trio playing an eclectic mix of cover songs. The line-up has changed over the past fifteen years, but the live acoustic format and rocking vibe remains the same.
All of the band members contribute vocally, with Andrew Curry on acoustic guitar Mark Farrell playing bass, and Nick Farnell on percussion. The instrumental composition of the group and harmonic vocals give the band a complete and full sound, with the songs they cover being faithfully, yet originally, rendered.

My Lasting Reply
My Lasting Reply is the musical creation of singer/songwriter Ryan Enright. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Ryan's passion for song writing and performing has earned him support slots with bands/artists from all over the world, as well as performances throughout Australia, Europe and Asia.
After a 9 month stint overseas travelling and song writing throughout Europe at the end of 2010, Ryan returned and put together a stellar live band ready to conquer the music industry. In January 2011, the band made their debut performance at the Australian Open (Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne), an impressive show for any band let alone a first ever show.
Between now and then, the band have shared many career successes with the selling-out of their first official EP launch at the John Curtin Hotel in Melbourne and, coming 3rd place overall nationally in NovaFM’s ‘I Am With The Band’ competition in 2011.
