The Australian Grand Prix Corporation, in conjunction with the Victorian Government, is driving the future with Driving Learning.

The Driving Learning program encourages learning in the Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology (STEM) fields by driving awareness, exciting and educating students about the career possibilities available through studying these fields.

Below are the ways teachers and students can be involved.



Student Tickets – Registration Closed

Get captivated by the world of Formula 1® and by the technology that surrounds the sport. All students can attend the Event for FREE on either Thursday 13 or Friday 14 March, 2014. Teachers must register students, so students make sure your teachers register. Registration closes Friday 7 March, 2014.

Resources For Teachers

Driving Learning offers teachers support by providing STEM aligned content ALL YEAR ROUND. Use this portal as a tool when preparing classes/activities.

Student Seminars - Registration Closed

Be inspired by heroes of the manufacturing and engineering field. Our heroes will deliver their individual success stories, talk about career progression and pathways as well as explore the options available to the next generation. Sessions will be hosted across both Thursday 13 and Friday 14 March.

Champion Edge Australian GP Track Run - Registration Closed

On Tuesday 11 March at 5pm Formula 1® superstar Mark Webber will launch the Champion Edge program with a track run around the Albert Park Street Circuit. In a special for the launch event, students aged 13-18 are invited to come and run the 5km circuit with Mark Webber and other high profile Champion Edge athletes for free.

Education Exhibition

The Education Exhibition offers students, teachers and event patrons alike the chance to learn about career paths within the STEM aligned fields. With daily demonstrations and activities, this is a great chance to see the breadth of opportunities available to our next generation.
